Dear parents,

Our annual parent information seminar will be running for Y2 – Y8. We are extending an invitation to current NCS parents (including parents signed up for 2026). Please note that this is a closed event, only open to our own parent community.

The 2026 scholarship exam season is drawing closer. We will need to discuss some important topics: What types of scholarship offers are there? How does one go about choosing the right schools and planning the exam season? What details should you keep an eye on in the application process? What are the common pitfalls, etc.

Whilst it is vital for students to prepare academically, it is just as important that parents understand the exam process, application procedure and all the contextual knowledge needed to prepare for the exam season. For example, this year, PLC and Lauriston Girls both scheduled their exams on the same day. There are a few other examples of similar cases. In such situations, which school should parents consider applying for?

This seminar is designed to help our current Y2 – Y8 parents to make informed decisions about the coming exam season. During the seminar, you will also receive resources with important information about the 2026 exam season, such as how to apply, exam dates and exam formats etc. Please be sure to attend one of the sessions.

There will be 3 seminars in English, all in Week 8 (29th and 30th of November). They will be :

• Templestowe Campus – Nov 29th, 9:15am – 11:00am
• Wheelers Hill Campus – Nov 30th, 9:15am – 11:00am
• Ashwood Campus – Nov 30th, 1:45pm – 3:30pm
