Dear NCS Community,

IMPORTANT NEWS:

• Melbourne Grammar just announced they are holding their scholarship exams in the early season this year.
• The MGS exam is now scheduled for the 29th of August.
• This exam is for entrance into Y7 and Y9 in 2028, which means it is open to current Y5s and Y7s.

To make sure our NCS students are well prepared, we are holding mock AAST exams in Week 2 and 5 of term 3. All enrolled Y5 and 7 NCS students (boys and girls) are invited to attend. This mock exam is not open to non-NCS students.

For girls, and students in other year levels, you can find a list of schools holding scholarship exams in the next few months here. Please come and ask us any questions you may have, especially if you missed out on the parents seminar this past Monday.

For these two weeks only, current NCS parents can schedule a 15min 1-on-1 with NCS AP Yang to discuss your goals, obstacles and possible strategies. Yang himself was a full academic and music scholarship recipient at Scotch College, and has coached over 800 NCS students to their offers over the past few years.
